TaskPot

Terms of Use

Effective October 14, 2026

The agreement between you and us: what you can expect from the app, and what we expect from you.

This is an agreement

These terms are a contract between you and TaskPot Bingo. By creating an account, taking an invite link, or otherwise using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The Privacy Policy is part of this agreement. Please read it — it describes what we do with what you write here.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and in parts of the EU a person under 16 needs a parent or guardian's consent. You must not use the app if you have previously been removed from it.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in details to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into it.

You need an account to write anything onto a card — your own or a friend's. You do not need one to look at an invite link somebody sent you.

What the app is

A seasonal goal bingo card. You write goals onto a card, friends you invite write goals onto it too and put rewards on its lines, and everything resolves on one reveal day at the end of the season.

We may change, add to or remove features, and seasons and reveal dates are set by us. We will not knowingly break a card that is mid-season, but the app is a work in progress and parts of it will change.

What you write stays yours

You keep ownership of everything you put into the app — your goals, your card names, your rewards, your photos. We claim no ownership of any of it.

You give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, display and transmit that content strictly for the purpose of operating the app for you and the people you have shared a card with. The licence exists so that we can put your goal on your card and show it to the friend you invited, and it ends when you delete the content or your account. It does not let us publish your content, sell it, or use it in marketing.

A comment on a public card in the Haul is the exception to "not publish": posting one gives us the same licence to show it publicly on that card, beside your first name, until you delete it or your account. We may hide a comment for any reason, without telling you.

You are responsible for what you upload. You confirm that you have the right to upload it, and that it does not infringe anybody else's rights.

Invites, friends, and what they write

An invite link is how somebody gets onto your card. Anybody who has the link can see that card, so treat it like a door key rather than a password. Separately, each card's Who can see it setting decides whether your crew (everyone you share a card with) can see it too; a square you write onto a friend's card set that way can be seen by their crew.

A friend who writes a goal onto your card writes it onto your card. You can decline it, and declining is silent — they are not told, and their goal keeps appearing to them. You cannot remove a goal of yours once a friend has put theirs on top of it; the square is theirs too once they have used it. You can also change the name a friend goes by on your card, which everyone on it then sees. You can remove a friend from your card at any point, which deletes the goal and the reward they put on it and stops your invite link adding them back until you let them back in; we do not currently notify them, and their invite link says only that it cannot add them. A friend who joined without an account (before accounts were needed to write to a card) can be removed the same way, but your link cannot recognise them, so it does not stop them joining again. A friend can leave your card the same way, and you are not told.

Anything written onto a shared card can be read by everyone on that card. We cannot control what other people do with what they see.

Rewards are between you and your friends

A reward is a promise a friend makes about something they will do if you hit a line. It is a social arrangement between the two of you. We are not a party to it, we do not hold anything on its behalf, we do not verify that anyone did what they said, and we will not arbitrate a disagreement about one.

There is no money in the app. Rewards must not involve money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, goods of significant value, gambling, wagers or anything with a cash value, and the app must not be used to run any kind of betting pool. Whether a square really counts is a conversation two friends have off the app.

What you must not do

  • Post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, or sexually explicit, or anything involving minors inappropriately.
  • Write a goal or a reward onto somebody's card in order to abuse, humiliate, coerce or pressure them.
  • Upload anything you do not have the right to upload, or anything containing malware.
  • Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your connection to anyone.
  • Use the app for money, wagers, gambling or any commercial promotion.
  • Scrape it, reverse engineer it, hammer its endpoints, circumvent its rate limits, or try to reach cards or data that are not yours.
  • Use it to collect other people's personal information, or to send unsolicited messages.

If somebody is using a card to get at you, tell us at info@taskpot.bingo. Declining their square is the immediate fix and it is silent; we will act on the rest.

Suspension and ending your account

You can stop using the app at any time. To close your account for good, open your account settings from the avatar menu, go to Security, and choose Delete account. It takes effect immediately, it cannot be undone, and it takes your cards and goals with it.

Goals and rewards you left on other people's cards stay on those cards, unlinked from you — for as long as those cards do. The owner of a card can delete it whenever they like, and that takes what you wrote on it. The Privacy Policy explains both, and info@taskpot.bingo is where to write if you want one of them taken down too.

We can suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will say why and give you a chance to put it right first.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, that a reveal will fire at a particular moment, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything you could not bear to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill, arising out of your use of the app.

Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these exclusions. Where that is the case, they do not apply to you, and nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from content you put into the app or from your breach of these terms. This does not apply to the extent the claim arises from our own wrongdoing.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page changes when we do, and material changes will be brought to your attention rather than slipped in. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms. The current version is the one at this address, dated October 14, 2026.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Arkansas, except that either of us may bring a claim in small claims court.

Before filing anything, please email info@taskpot.bingo and give us 30 days to sort it out. Most things can be sorted out.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU or the UK, nothing here deprives you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, or of your right to bring proceedings there.

The rest

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about the app. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing something is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer this agreement; we may transfer it as part of a transfer of the app itself.

Questions about these terms go to info@taskpot.bingo.
